Did you know you can request your repeat prescription online?
The easiest, safest and quickest way to order your repeat prescription is online. There is no need to make a phone call or visit us; instead computer, smartphone or tablet users can request repeat prescriptions anywhere – 24 hours a day, seven days a week. You can also check what medication you should be taking and when.
If you are not already registered for GP online services please let a member of the practice team know you would like to use this service.
When you first register it is important to make an appointment to see the Doctor for him or her to consult with you regarding your health and to set up your repeat prescription. Once you have had this initial appointment, repeat prescriptions may be requested IN WRITING, preferably using the request slip attached to your last prescription and ticking the items you require. They will be ready for collection 2 working days after they are requested. Prescriptions requested on Friday will be ready for collection on Monday afternoon. Please note: we do not accept prescription requests by telephone
Why not try our online prescription request service. Simply log in using the prescription page, complete your details and request your repeat items.
Please note that the online line service is purely for repeat items and you will NOT be able to request ad hoc prescription items. Your Dr will need to see you on a regular basis to review and update your repeat prescriptions.
If you are housebound most Pharmacies will arrange to order and collect your repeat prescriptions. Please contact your local Pharmacy and they will arrange this service for you.
If you prefer to have your prescriptions sent to you, please give us a stamped, self-addressed envelope when you request your prescription. Expired items are highlighted on the request slip of your prescription and you must attend to see the Doctor for repeat medication.
If you have any questions or worries about your prescription, please discuss them with your Doctor.
